The Timetable Categories module allows you to define distinct scheduling structures such as "General", "Ramadan", or "Summer". These categories form the foundational rules and timings that are applied when generating a timetable.
Timetable Categories
Overview
Business Use Case
Different periods of the school year often require drastically different daily schedules. For example, during Ramadan, session lengths might be shortened and the school day might start later. By creating specific Timetable Categories, administrators can quickly switch the active scheduling rules across the entire school without having to manually edit every individual session block. When you create a new timetable, you apply one of these categories to automatically inherit its structural rules.
